DAS Energy Modules Viennese Prater on top of 'Kugeltanz' bowling alley
The light & flexible PV modules from Austria are producing 100% green electricity on top of Vienna's bowling alley 'Kugeltanz' in Vienna's famous Prater.
On 1177 m2 flat roof about 600 pieces of the DAS Energy project module 11x6M 330Wp were installed in May. The PV modules were bonded directly to the roof membrane, consisting of bitumen, in a short time.
As a result, the building now has 200 kWp of installed capacity, generating about 176,000 kilowatt hours per year. The annual CO2 saving is 66 tons - equivalent to 1,333,333 clean kilometers that one could travel with an e-car per year.
