AFAS Experience Center
In April 2020, the AFAS software stadium in Leusden, NL was equipped with over 1000 ultra-light DAS Energy PV modules (only 3.3, kg/m2). The new complex houses the AFAS corporate headquarters and is called the AFAS Experience Center. The project was managed by Comdis Europe (DAS Energy's exclusive partner in the Benelux). The installed capacity is 400 kWp.
The ultralight PV modules from DAS Energy used for this were bonded directly to the PVC membrane surface on the roof of the AFAS centre. Thanks to the low weight and the bonding technology, the installation of the PV system was quick and easy.
Especially for stadium roofs that are clad with membrane, bitumen or metal, DAS Energy GmbH offers the perfect PV installation solution - the PV modules produced in Austria (Wr. Neustadt) are bonded directly to the membrane surface and thus do not require roof penetrations or further fastening material.
Significant electricity cost savings and independence from electricity providers - the advantages of the innovative PV modules for stadium and arena roofs are obvious.
